Open the clams and bingo great drops UNTIL I had progressed to a higher level - no more pearl drops just clam meat. Kill any creature round there and you seem to get clams.
I got a load of small lustrous and 3 or 4 iridescent pearls when i was killing level 30 turtles and level 28-30 daggerspines & murlocs in Hillsbrad, down the river from Tarren mill and then onto the shore. You dont have to listen to me :) but i know this is just AWESOME, i got a lot of gold and i can buy almost anything i see.Ĭomment by AllakhazamI think you have to be the right level for the creature you are killing to get the pearl drop. Thats true, at the begining you should farm a lot to get the basic money (about 100 gold), then you can afford to bouyout the other player's Pearls and take it out at your prices. So now i got as much gold that i can totally own the Iridescent Pearls at AH, If i see one below 7 gold buyout price i buy it and take it out with 7g buyout price :) Its a really good gold income, This is my second character (lvl 32 human lock) and now i have 312 gold only with selling pearls, this is a great deal belive me.
I didnt counted the Tangy Meats at farmtime but i just realized, Wow i got 200 gold from selling pearls at AH and selling vendor trash from murlocs, some green as well and they also dropped one blue. Im playing on a medium populated server in alliance side, the whole thing was started with the spider silk craftable boots, (the mats contains pearls) so i read this page and went to farm Bluegill Murlocks.
